'Analysis Of A Stakeholder Essay\r'

'The Stakeholder in which I decided to research and write active is the AMA or to some it may be known as the American health check Association. This association’s representation is to break humans health and promote the artifice and science of medicine. The AMA was founded in 1847 by a macrocosm by the name of Nathan Smith Davis. The group has since invested in the doctor and patient relationship and has promoted scientific proficiency as considerably as improved public health. Mr. Davis was the first editor of the Journal of the American Medical Association back in 1883 until 1888.\r\nThe first commandment of medical examination ethics was adopted by the AMA delegates and they were the ones to get to the first nationwide standards for preliminary medical pedagogy as salubrious as the degree of MD’s. This association has become the largest in American history. The AMA reports to attend to as an advocate for the profession, physicians, and patients.\r \nThe AMA focus on deuce-ace core aras within health c ar: (1) improve the outcome of health care, (2) Changing medical education, (3) and by making sure pay regularityls are delivered expeditiously as well as enhancing physician satisfaction. Members of the AMA enjoin they plan on setting goals in nightspot to reach these things. (www.ama-assn.org) By doing so they plan to initiate, break share, and develop patient-physician conclusiveness making.\r\nAlso when it comes to bettering the system the AMA states that they go away: (1) Increase productivity, save lives and coin, and improve outcomes and health by developing and practicing it’s delivery, (2) Diversify physician go so that it may reflect the levels as well as its service risk by adopting a good payment policy, (3) and allow physicians to select the models that fits the mode of their practices.(www.ama-assn.org) After reading and knowing what the AMA stood for and the commission in which they are strivin g to accomplish made me better understand how they connect with the health care field.\r\n at present since we all have a better discernment about the AMA I can focus on the Health divvy up Reform Act and key out the AMA’s position on it. Here are a few things in which the Health Care Reform Act states. Thirty-two million uninsured Americans pull up stakes be extended medical reporting. In the year of 2014 small business pull up stakes be allowed to purchase reporting through a dispel exchange. If a child has a preexisting medical condition they will not be denied health insurance insurance reportage. Also in the year of 2014 no health insurance company will be able to deny health coverage to anyone. Parents will be able to carry their children on their health insurance policy until the age of twenty-six. Even if dirty immigrants want/need health insurance coverage and they are willing to purchase it with their own money they will not be allowed to do so with any ex change.\r\nIn 2009 enlargement of insurance coverage was the most contentious issue and the AMA was the most plain organization that represented physicians and their views on this issue. The AMA opposed Medicare expansion and proposed coverage of the uninsured primarily through nonpublic means. Many AMA members were in disagreement about this barely it seems as if the older physicians supported the AMA’s decision but the younger ones disagreed. Many physicians supported the proposals for health insurance expansion in which the AMA opposed.\r\nEven though the AMA is considered the most visible organization that represent physicians, it’s views did not represent the majority of the physicians views on coverage expansion in the most recent advance efforts. The AMA felt as if the reform act did enwrap and promise some priority goals which were: (1) extend coverage to uninsured, (2) investing in physician’s spielforce, (3) proving foresightful term relief fro m Medicare flawed physician payment formula, (4) focusing as well as change magnitude the nation’s preventive care and wellness initiatives, (5) and simplifying administrative burdens for patient and physicians.\r\nThe AMA states that they will continue to work with Congress as well as brass pushing for the best outcome for physicians as well as patients. (www.ama-assn.org) They also will continue to purloin the IPAB (Independent Payment Advisory Board), replace the SGR (Sustainable Growth Rate), and act out the MLR (Medical Liability Reform). With this being said overall it will take time but the AMA states that it will continue to stand strong and firm about its mission as well as its goals in which they are try to reach for its physicians and the patients.(www.acep.org) Even though the\r\ndisagreed about certain proposals they will continue to fight.\r\nReferences\r\nwww.acep.org\r\nwww.ama-assn.org\r\nwww.nejm.org\r\n'
