This explains why Blacks are sent to jail in such disproportionate number; they dont have good lawyers to defend them. In sum, mass incarceration have a higher limit for blacks to be in prison. We can end mass incarceration by reinvesting in crime prevention policies. If mass incarceration does not end there would be a high percentage of blacks who are in prison suffering. To start off with my first media artifact of media law I will be addressing whether those that partake in the activity of Catfishing can be prosecuted for their actions. When addressing the laws that pertain to Catfishing those that had their pictures/names used for the act of Catfishing have more power to prosecute that those who have been emotionally hurt from being Catfished. In  the branch of linguistics known as morphology, a splinter is defined as a fragment of a word used in the formation of new words. Examples of splinters include  -tarian  and -terian (from vegetarian, as in the coinages eggitarian,  fisheterian, and meatatarian)  and -holic (shopaholic, chocoholic, textaholic, foodaholic). The splinter is formally identical to a clipping, but whereas clippings function as full words, splinters do not (Concise Encyclopedia of Semantics, 2009). The morphological term splinter was  coined by linguist J.M. Berman in Contribution on Blending in  Zeitschrift fà ¼r Anglistik und Amerikanistik, 1961.
