Lobsang Sangay

Lobsang Sangay (born 1968 at Darjeeling) is a Tibetan refugee, legal scholar and policy-making activist. He was select as the next Kalon Tripa (equivalent to Prime Minister) of the Tibetan Government in Exile on 26 April 2011. Sangay was an active member of the radical Tibetan Youth Congress (TYC), a group China designates as a terrorist organization, participating in many protests against Chinese rule in Tibet.
