Joe Sealys Africville Concert Report During the February 3rd plan, Africville by Joe Sealy and the rest of the expressiness I noticed many aspects that were curious and significant. The first intimacy I noticed as I was watching and sense of hearing was that the Sean OSullivan family had a precise calm and spicy atmosphere. The colouring and lights were truly dimmed and loony. Alana Bridgewater as well as had a very kind and soft voice, not only as she was relation but to a fault when she was narrating. Overall, the whole movement had a gentle feel to it. other major part of the performance that I found remarkable and memorable was the paper telling feel that was presented. Alana Bridgewater, vocalist and narrator, communicated everything as if it was a story near Africville, this was evident passim the whole concert. This also do the concert more entertain because it helped the audience create a picture of what the music is about and it created an image for the audience as they were listening to the band. The introduction that Alana read and performed before each line told a story along with the actual song, this made a perfect representation of what Joe valued the audience to see from the experience. The dialogue amidst the band was also very noticeable.

Throughout the performance there was communication between every member of the band, the bear up bassist and the drummer seemed to have the some communication though. As I watched and listened I saw the drummer typeface at the bassist many generation and do head movements, facial nerve expressions and other ty pes of communication. Even though this did o! ccur between the other band members, it was not as noticeable or did not happen as often. This demonstrates the inter-group communication and the enjoyment that both musicians (the drummer and bassist) had as they played to ca-caher.
